An Enjoyable Visual Feast
As I entered the
theater I knew I would need to leave my brain at the door and sit there
with popcorn enjoying a visually spectacular movie. And that's what I
got. At first, the dialogue and acting were cheesy. Normally, it would
continue like that. Well, somewhere along the way it either stopped
being cheesy or I just didn't notice it anymore. By the time the movie
ended I felt entertained. I didn't feel as if I had wasted time or
money. So, for me, it was a good movie.
Now on to the racial controversy. My question is why is there even a controversy about this? The movie takes place in an ALTERNATE Earth Egypt. I mean, the world is flat and Ra created everything. Seems silly to put out the effort to protest a movie that has no basis in history whatsoever.
